Christine Frisk, ASID, InUnison Design, was quoted in the Star Tribune, March 10, 2018 article “More Twin Cities women are carving out ‘me’ spaces in their homes.” Christine explained that as women have become financial contributors to their households, they have started to carve out space for themselves in their homes.  She has designed writing rooms, painting rooms, dressing lounges and meditation spaces for her female clients.

Kristine Kubes, ASID Industry Partner, was sworn in to practice before the United States Supreme Court on March 21, 2018, with colleagues from the ACEC Legal Counsel Forum. Kubes was the only Minnesota attorney admitted, and may now represent parties in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. She is the founding member of Kubes Law Office, serving design and construction professionals.

Jackie Millea, AIA, ASID, Shelter Architecture, won Midwest Home Magazine’s 2018 Emerging Talent Award honor.

Lisa Peck, ASID, and Christina Rymer, Allied ASID, LiLu Interiors, were finalists in the Sustainable Furnishing Council’s 2017 #GetYourGreenOn Shared Spaces $30,000 & Above category.  Their entry featured design details made to support aging-in-place, sustainability and green design.

Kristin Rackner, Allied ASID, Studio Vice, was featured in Midwest Home Magazine’s February 2018 article “Bohemian Style Gaining Traction.”  Kristin’s kitchen embodies the Bohemian Style which she describes as being the antidote to cookie-cutter design.
